What MEEC does:
Believing that Jesus, the Jewish Messiah, is Lord of all, and therefore Lord for all: ‘Jew and Greek’: Middle East Evangelical Concern exists to:
- increase awareness among Evangelical Christians in UK of the difficulties faced by our sisters and brothers in Christ in Palestine and the Middle East.
- ask questions about the history, politics and theology associated with support for a ‘Zionist’ state, (as distinct from support for Israel).
- encourage Christians to pray for the Church in Palestine and the Middle East.
- encourage Christians to pray for Jews and Muslims in the Middle East.
We achieve this by:
- exhibiting at Christian events,
- providing information, accepting invitations to speak, and
- encouraging people to discover more for themselves about the politics, history and theology of the ‘unholy land’.
In 2011 we plan to exhibit at Spring Harvest, Minehead and at Keswick. We hope also to be at other festivals dependant upon timing and available funds. Please keep us in your prayers. Exhibiting at these festivals is costly - if you are able to help financially please make contact contact@meec.org.uk
